Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health Launches Full Battery Psychological Testing Program
San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) July 30, 2011
The Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health has developed a new program of psychological testing called MindwiseNow Testing.
MindwiseNow Testing provides a wide range of psychological test including personality assessments, IQ/achievement tests, depression screens and learning disability tests. “Our mission is to make a full range of psychological testing more convenient and readily available for people,” said Dr. Paul A. Parks, executive director of the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health.
Through this new program, the Center can test adults and children for gifted and talented, learning disabilities (for Texas 504 accommodations), depression ADD and ADHD, career preferences, compatibility (for pre-marital counseling), substance abuse, IQ (intelligence), personality traits and development delays. MindwiseNow Testing is staffed by the Ecumenical Center’s licensed psychologist and counselors. ““By offering a program specifically dedicated to psychological testing, we can identify issues and challenges with individuals and families to support them in leading a healthier, fuller life,” said Parks.
A primary focus of MindWiseNow Testing will be for schoolchildren having difficulty in school, challenges concentrating or other issues. Psychological testing can be helpful in identifying the factors behind these symptoms so parents can get their children in the proper classroom setting whether it is gifted and talented, a grade lower or higher, or special needs.
